The confirmation of Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian government intermediary has opened up a whole can of worms for everyone involved with Donald Trump’s campaign and Donald Trump’s life. In particular it’s placed scrutiny on the people who helped Junior to set up his meeting in the first place. And now the internet has connected the dots which raise the question of whether one of them is “Source D” from the infamous Trump-Russia dossier.
It was music industry publicist Rob Goldstone who has admitted to have directly set up the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and the Russian government lawyer. But based on the published email exchange, Goldstone’s pop singer client Emin Agalarov and his Russian billionaire father Aras Agalarov allegedly helped set up the meeting. This led Dr. Dena Grayson to to point back to the dossier published by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele, only some of which has been verified, but it’s nonetheless become a guidepost for those trying to put the pieces together.
Grayson figured out that key details of Donald Trump’s relationship with the Agalarovs seem to line up with events described in the dossier (source). This led Roger Sollenberger of Paste Magazine to chime in with his assertion that “Source D must [be] an Agalarov. Emin Agalarov filmed the rap video w/Trump during Miss Universe. In the Ritz Carlton.” (source). None of this is proven; these could be mere coincidences. But if it does end up being proven, it would in turn prove that this portion of the dossier is true.
And if that’s the case, then the story about Donald Trump and Russian prostitutes would by extension have to be true. And that would mean that the mythical “Pee Pee Tape” would have to be very much real. So in this sense, Donald Trump Jr.’s confession may have just blown things wide open.
